I live with my Greek wife of 25 years, Vicky, who teaches at a Montessori school, my 17 year old daughter, Aphrodite, who gives horse riding lessons, and two dogs and a cat. A thank you from London for your research into Herman Cain’s Burger King past.
Last night (2/29/12) BBC2’s flagship news programme Newsnight featured an interview with Herman Cain. In its filmed introduction it referred to Cain’s “stellar corporate record” as the reason he was taken seriously as a candidate. I don’t exactly know why but something about this statement this rang false to me: how can a man who made such misjudgements have had a ‘stellar’ record?
So I was searching on the net for more info on Cain’s past at Burger King and luckily came across your own research on the same subject. It’s an object lesson in not believing what you read in the press (or from conservative sources). Well done – what an eye-opener!
