Compared to Thursday, July 15, 2011, from 5 PM to 11 PM:

Fox was down 23% in the demo and down 7% in total viewers.
MSNBC was up 18% in the demo and 32% in total viewers.

Compared to Fox, MSNBC went from 39% to 64% in the demo and from 32% to 48% in total viewers.

Every MSNBC show was up in the demo and total viewers with the exception of O’Donnell at 8 PM. Every Fox show was down in the ratings, but Baier was up 1% (11,000), Shep up 2% (26,000) and O’Reilly up 1% (43,000) in total viewers. However, these miniscule ups were far exceeded by the down time slots 5PM down 31% (588,000), Hannity down 10% (237,000), Van Susteren down 7% (131,000) and O’Reilly at 11 PM down 9% (135,000)

In the demo, Matthews was up 93% (123,000) and Ed Schultz up 62% (120,000) over a Countdown Rerun last year.
