“Enough is enough.I have now reached the breaking point and have decided to take action. I am tired of always reading about and hearing about Tina Fey lookalikes. I want to see and hear only about the real thing.
I propose and demand that every time there is an article about a Tiny Fey lookalike, we have an article about the real Tina Fey. Every time there is an article about a Tina Fey lookalike running for president in 2012, I propose that we have an article about Tina Fey running for president in 2012.
Tina Fey was head writer for SNL for seven years, and delivered the News on the show for five years. She has written a successful movie “Mean Girls” and starred in two successful movies, “Baby Mama” and “Date Night,” and has had her own television show for four years, “30 Rock.”
She has won multiple awards for writing, acting and producing. These include seven Emmy awards, four for acting, one for writing, and two for producing; two Golden Globe awards for acting; two People’s Choice awards for acting; one Teen Choice award, three Screen Actors Guild awards; and five Writer’s Guild awards. No Tina Fey lookalike comes anywhere close to her level of achievement. In fact, at age 40, probably nobody has reached her level of achievement at such a young age.
Also, Wikipedia has this information about her:
Fey is also a supporter of Mercy Corps, a global relief and development organization, in their campaign to end world hunger.Fey narrated a video for Mercy Corps’s Action Center in New York City, describing hunger as a symptom of many wider world problems. She also supports the Love Our Children USA organization, which fights violence against children, who named her among their Mothers Who Make a Difference in 2009.She is the 2009 national spokesperson for the Light The Night Walk, which benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
In May 2010, it was announced that Fey would receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on November 13, 2010, at the Kennedy Center. The following month it was confirmed she would receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.
The next time you see any article devoted to a Tina Fey lookalike, please write in and demand that the real Tina Fey be given equal or more time. Do not settle for a bland lookalike when the real thing is out there.
